Maintaining Balance | Weekly Yoga Class Focus

Reflecting this week 'where am I out of balance in my life? Can I pull back and find the centre?'

THE SECRET OF THE MIDDLE WAY, Chapter 18 of The Untethered Soul. Also, 'the way' or 'the middle way' is the way of the Tao te Jing, translated'.

'Everything has its extremes, its yin and its yang. Too close - too far away, too much - too little and your pendulum swings off centre. You are wasting a tremendous amount of energy.

The ‘Way‘ is in the middle because that’s the place where the energies are balanced. Better to stay centred and you can move forward more effectively and the experience of being present in each moment will become your natural state.

When you move in the Tao, you are always present. Life becomes simple - it’s unfolding right in front of you. Find the balance in the centre and you will live in harmony and just sail through life.“
