Monday Yoga Classes:

Term 4 2024 will commence Monday 7th October and the last class for the term will be Monday 16th December - 10 weeks ($200). Note, no class on Cup Eve (4th November). Bookings are closed for the term. Contact Nicky if you wish to join.

Flourish Yoga Monday evening classes offer a classical approach, based on Patanjali's 8 limbs of yoga. The asana (yoga poses) practice is a gentle hatha, and Gita style. Each class incorporates yoga poses (asana), breathing practice (pranayama), self enquiry, meditation and relaxation. Classes run for one hour.

is Beaumaris Yacht Club (BYC).

BYC is located north of Ricketts Point Parking in the beach carpark is free with a Bayside parking permit. Free parking is available on Haydens Rd, Beaumaris. There is a walking path down to the Yacht Club (entrance to pathway is directly opposite Haydens Rd).
NOTE - no classes are held on public holidays or school holidays.

Flourish Yoga classes are suitable to all levels with variations offered throughout and students encouraged to work within their ability and honour the philosophy of least strain for the most gain. This philosophy has been passed on to me from my yoga teacher Helen Kershaw, and her teacher Margrit Segesman. Margrit started the first yoga school in Melbourne, in 1960, after studying yogic teachings with her guru in India. Her Gita Yoga includes a sequence of 10 yoga postures aligned with the endocrine glands in the body, while supporting strength, flexibility, and balance, and a peaceful disposition.

BYO mat and a blanket, for relaxation.

You are welcome to come along anytime in a casual capacity, where space is available.
